Dune Lake Consulting LLC

Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Dune Lake Consulting LLC collects when you use dunelakeconsulting.digital, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. It covers the website and the first email or phone contact that follows. It does not cover what a client shares later inside a signed engagement, which is handled under the confidentiality terms of that agreement.

Dune Lake Consulting LLC provides professional business and management consulting services in Florida. The practice is not a law firm and does not provide legal representation.

What this policy covers

The website

Pages you can browse without giving us anything. Reading the site, following a link to the services or insights pages, and viewing the company details on the about page all happen without an account and without a form.

Messages you send us

The contact form and the email address on the contact page collect what you choose to type: your name, your email, your business, and whatever you write about the situation. Nothing else is required to start a conversation.

What is outside this policy

Documents and financial detail shared after a scope is agreed are governed by the confidentiality terms of the consulting agreement, not by this page. Third-party sites we link to run their own policies, and we do not control them.

Scope of this page

Website visits and first contact only

What we collect and why

We keep the list short on purpose. If a field is not needed to answer you, we do not ask for it.

Collected directly from you

Contact details

Your name, email address, and business name when you write to us. Used to reply and to keep the thread of the conversation.

Your description

The plain account of your situation that you choose to send. Used to judge whether the practice can help and to prepare for the first call.

Documents you offer

Financials, a lender's request, or a plan, if you send them later. Used only for the work you asked us to look at.

Collected automatically

Basic request data

The pages you view and the browser type your device reports, kept by our hosting provider in routine server records. Used to keep the site online and to spot abuse.

No advertising profiles

We do not build advertising profiles of visitors and we do not sell personal information. There is no account to create on this site and no tracking pixel placed by us for resale.

How your information is used

Every use below traces back to answering you or running the practice. Where a purpose does not apply to your message, we do not apply it.

Answering your inquiry

Reading what you sent, deciding on fit, and replying with next steps or a referral to another professional.

Preparing an engagement

Reviewing the documents you share so the first conversation starts from your real numbers instead of a blank page.

Keeping records

Maintaining a working record of correspondence so an owner does not have to repeat their situation to a second person.

Protecting the practice

Detecting spam and abusive submissions, and meeting the recordkeeping obligations that apply to a registered Florida company.

Purposes listed above

Four, and no unrelated reuse

Confidentiality

What you send us stays with the practice

The first conversation is confidential, and so is the message that gets you there. Access is limited to the people working on your inquiry: Managing Director Tristan J. Martin and, where a specific question needs it, a person brought in for that task alone. We do not discuss client situations with other clients, and we do not use one owner's story as an example in another engagement. If you would rather not put details in writing, say so in your first message and we will set up a call instead.

Consulting is not legal advice. Where a question needs a licensed Florida attorney or a tax professional, we say so and help you frame the handoff.

Sharing, retention and security

We share information only where the work requires it. Below is who can see what, how long it stays, and what we do to keep it from going somewhere it should not.

Who can see it

The practice, plus the email and hosting providers that carry the message and store the site. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information, and we do not pass it to advertisers.

How long we keep it

An inquiry that does not become an engagement is kept for about nine to eighteen months and then removed. Correspondence inside a live engagement is kept for the period the agreement sets, then deleted on request.

How it is protected

Messages travel over an encrypted connection and sit in accounts protected by strong passwords and two-factor access. No system is perfect, so keep sensitive account numbers out of the first message.

Third parties paid for personal information

None

Your choices and rights

Florida law gives you a way to see, correct, and delete the personal information a business holds about you. Send the request from the email address you used and we will confirm what we have.

What happens

See what we hold

We describe the categories of information connected to your email address and the purpose it was collected for.

Correct a detail

If a name, business, or contact detail is wrong, tell us the correction and we will update the record.

Delete an inquiry

Ask us to remove a message thread that never became an engagement. We delete it unless a record must be kept for a legal or accounting reason, and we say so if that applies.

Opt out of follow-up

Tell us to stop following up and we close the thread. We do not run a newsletter, so there is no list to unsubscribe from.

Requests go to [email protected] or through the contact page. We answer within a few business days, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Questions about this policy

Short answers to the questions owners ask before they send anything. If yours is not here, write to us and we will answer it plainly.

Do you use cookies on this site?

Answer

The site uses the small set of cookies needed to load pages and keep the site working. The consent notice you saw when you arrived covers anything beyond that, and you can change your choice from it at any time. We do not use cookies to build an advertising profile of you.

Will you contact me after I send a message?

Answer

Yes, once, to answer you. We reply with next steps, a question, or a referral, and we do not add you to a marketing list. If you ask us to close the thread, we do, and we keep only the record we need for our own files.

Is the first conversation confidential?

Answer

Yes. We treat what you share as confidential, and we ask only for what helps us understand the situation. You decide what to disclose and when, and a written scope always comes before any work begins.

Do you provide legal advice?

Answer

No. Dune Lake Consulting LLC provides professional business and management consulting services in Florida, including law-adjacent guidance on framing a business question. Where a matter involves legal rights, filings, or a dispute, we say so and help you hand it to a licensed attorney.

How do I reach you about a privacy request?

Answer

Email [email protected], or use the contact page. Our mailing address is 14 Walnut St, Santa Rosa Beach, FL 32459, USA, and the practice answers Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Where to go next

This page covers the website and first contact only. If you want to know what the practice does before you write, the services page lists each area and what it covers. The how we work page sets out what an engagement looks like from the first call to the recommendations. When you are ready to describe your situation, the contact page is the place to do it.
